iPod touch
-Look inot the headphone jack hole. Does it look like the end of a plug is inside?
Are your headphones missing an end?
- If not, try the following to rule out a sftware problem:
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup
- Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod
If still problem you likely have a hardware problem. Probably a bad headphone jack. An appointment at the Genous Bar of an Apple store is in order.
