After last iTunes update I am all of a sudden unauthorized to listen to books I "own" from Audible.com....HELP

I downloaded and installed the lastest update and then they asked for my Audible password which after 2 or 3 tries I finally gave them (because it is in my computer's keychain and why didnt they have it anyway?) and now iTunes will not let me listen to my audible books library because say it is not "authorized" on this computer. I purchased them from audible on this computer! Anyone have any helpful words for me?
