my itunes is taking to long to back up when my ipod is connected any suggestions?

You can try moving the existing backup file to a safe place and let iTunes create an entier new one. That file is located here:

• Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
• Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
• Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Do you have Show Hidden Files turned on?

Is this right after you connect or shen you start the sync?

Have you moved the backup file?

I wold move them to a safe place like your Document folder in case you have a problem before a new backup file is created.

You right click on the file and select Cut. Then go to the other location (Documents?) and select Paste.
