My Ipod 4g that I purchased from Amazon 7 months ago has a jammed 'lock' button (the button on the top of the ipod). Can this be fixed, if so, how? If not, can I get a replacement? Thanks!

Exact same thing happened to me last night, now I can't turn it off! I've never dropped my ipod and have only had it 7 months bought brand new. Has anyone else experienced this and will they replace it? It should be under warranty...
Your iPod should still be in the warraty period. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. If defective you should walk out with a refurbished iPod. Or you could call AppleCare under your warranty.
Thanks for the reply. Yes I found out from Apple that I can send it in for service or replacement (there is no Apple store where I live), so hopefully everything goes smoothly and they will replace it for me.
Update: they replaced my ipod touch for me within 2 business days!! I'm very impressed.
