I've seen many answers to this problem but I'm afraid I'm not still not getting it
Do I need the audio/video to be published first. The media is mostly youtube videos
This is the podcast feed url http://coachingforinspiration.com/feed/podcast/ I've checked and everything is setup correctly yet I get this feed as no episodes

As you will see if you download the feed and open it a text editor, there are no episodes in the feed.
Incidentally, you mentioned YouTube - you can't use YouTube videos in a podcast.
Thanks so much for the quick reply, I've also uploaded Mp3 audio files and videos MP4 files I still get the same message this feed has no episodes.
I initially posted audio and videos however Itunes was not recognising the podcast url so I deleted them as they were just test ones, so do I need the leave the audio files published for a while before the I try to submit the podcast url again.

The media files may be published but as they are not referenced in the feed iTunes cannot know anything about them. You presumably did have episodes in the feed before - though it sounds as if they were of types iTunes can't see, such as .swf or YouTube URLs.
You need to create episodes again and reference suitable types of files - for audio, mp3 or m4a; for video, m4v, mov or mp4.
