Can I connect my Mbox to my iPad?

I have an Avid Mbox USB audio interface (first generation). With it, I'm able to connect various microphones and musical instruments to my Mac. Can I connect the Mbox to my iPad, say with an Apple Camera Connection Kit or some other USB connector?
