When you are in a full screen application and you open mission control, it shows the first desktop, but acts as if it is showing the full screen application. Anyone else notice this bug?

Yes, I have also been getting irritated by this bug. It makes the Mission Control feel cumbersome and amateurish.
Was hoping 10.7.1 update would fix it, but alas, no.
Any explainations / suggestions would be appreciated.
This annoying problem is still remain even OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion!
Agreed. I dislike this "feature" tremendously. It feels awkward and jarring. It doesn't fit with the slick and seamless Apple methodology.
It seams to be google drive's fault just quit the app. And post some comentary on google to see if anyone solves it.
