doubt regarding calibration

I have white MacBook (early 2009), with Snow Leopard running.

I read this following article about calibration: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/9036.html

I have doubt in step 2

It says "Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for two hours or longer.", with subnote as "You can use your computer during this time as long as the power adapter is plugged in."

If I don't want to use computer after fully charging it, should I turn off and remove MagSafe Power Adapter or should I keep it on for 2 hours?

Please help.

When your Mac is plugged into the Power Adapter, it is not using Battery Power, so the battery is "resting". It is only when you don't have the Power Adapter in and you have the Mac booted up are you using the battery.

After fully charging, it is safe to remove the Power Adapter.

I advise that whenever not using or charging the battery to keep it unplugged from a power source. This way, if any unforeseen Power Surges or storms wrecks havoc in your home, your Mac is safe. And you are also not using/wasting electricity. Also make sure the Power Adapter is also unplugged from the outlet, since even if it's not connected to your Mac, it's still drawing electricity. That advice goes for any mobile phones or other devices you have around the home.
