Apart from making sure that you are in good light no - the camera is low resolution, so you are not going to get photos that are similar in quality to a digital compact camera or even most phones.
So why is the iPhone 4 camera is very good?iPad 2,iPod touch and iPhone 4 have same cameras. So why iPhone 4 has better quality?
Because they don't have the same cameras - the iPhone 4 can take a 5 meg photos, the iPad is I think just under 1 meg
WHAT???The iPad 2 back camera is 7 megapixel and the front is 2 megapixels
No it's not. The rear camera on iPad is 1.2 megapixel and the front facing camera is .7 megapixel.
iPad 2 is not really meant for high quality pictures, more for video calls/confrencing.

Where did you see those outlandish specs for the iPad 2?
For stills and movies, the front camera on the iPad 2 is VGA quality: 640 x 480 = 0.3 megapixels
For stills, the rear camera on the iPad 2 is: 960 x 720 = 0.7 megapixels
For movies only, the rear camera yields frames of 1280 x 720 = 0.9 megapixels at 29 frames/second.
Yeah. All of you are right.I read it in iPad 2 user guide. It was .7 and I thought it was 7
