Hi

Same thing for me today. I wonder if there is something going on with today's date.

I tried to download by tapping on the download arrow 9that is the cloud with the arrow) and got the message you have already purchased this book, go to purchases and download so I go there tap download same thing. I have tried deleting (can't) rebooting, does not work. It is like Ground Hog's Day

Having the same issue. Must be an August 18th thing? When I connect to iTunes on my computer and "check for available downloads" it says I have one, but then says I can't connect to the iTunes store. When I try to connect to the store not through this function I have no problem. Apple - HELP! Please if someone figures this out, post the answer. I'm rather frustrated.

When you get your receipt by email for the book, you can click on "report a problem" and the itunes people are good about crediting your account or fixing the problem.

My original problem today was when I downloaded the book, I got a message that itunes was unavailable, but it is still acting as if I bought it. I looked in my itunes account on my computer and the book was not there even though I just synced my ipad. so I think it is lost in cyber space.

You can go to your itunes account under store and select check for available downloads. When I just tried this I received the message the "itunes store was unavailable try again later", so I think there must be some glitch in their system today.

If you can download unto your computer then you can sync to your ipad.

I have a feeling that something happened on their end and they have a lof of people today who are hanging there and not helping the probelm.

Be patient.

Same problem here. Able to purchase and download ipad apps just fine, including redownloading ibooks but nada on the actual book I purchased today or a book I purchased in the past. Just the same annoying loop. Tried to download it on itunes on my macbook pro and got the same annoying message. Grrr! Good thing I'm not ready to read the book just yet.

Do not know if this is fluke or not, but I got my book!!! I hooked my IPad to my laptop opened the Itunes application and upgraded the IPad OS to version 4.3.5 (8L1). After the OS update reboot and sync, and deleted the iBooks App for the iTunes application on my laptop, re-synced PC and IPad to remove iBooks from the IPad. Reinstalled the iBooks App and got my book! Let me know if this works for you.
