2.3GHz i5 vs. 2.7GHz i7 MacBook Pro 13"

As the title states, I'm considering the 13" MacBook Pro. Wondering if the difference in performance justifies the price difference. Wondering if other users can chime in and provide some guidance. As far as use goes, the typical Office for Mac, Photoshop CS5, Omnigraffle, etc.

I will also upgrade the MBP with 8GB of RAM and an SSD either way I go - on my own, not via Apple.

I have the i5 upgraded to 8GB ram (crucial), and also upgraded the OS to Lion, and I couldn't be happier with the performance. I almost want to say the ram upgrade is unnecessary. Since I see you have an interest in photoshop you might want the i7, but honestly if you read the reviews there is only a 10% increase in speed and they all put the better value on the i5.
