Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
This morning I downloaded an app, it installed fine, but now when I go back to the App Store it is stuck in that App's info page within Featured. I can get into all the other parts of the App Store, but when I go back to the Featured tab it's stuck in the App I downloaded. I have tried restarting the phone, no difference, any suggestions?
Ok if you haven't already figured out the fix here's how to fix it.
Go to settings / General / Reset / Reset all settings this will NOT delete anything, But it will change clicking of the keyboard, location services, clicking of on and off, home and lockscreen pictures.
But it does fix the app store. The ipod will go to apple screen and have a bar under it after the bar loads the ipod will turn off, turn back on. it may show another bar under the apple no worries it will still just turn on.
There you go app stores fixed all you have to do is set some setting back the way you like them.
And hey no need to go through a restore!

Try going into the settings>store and then click your Apple ID then select sign out then sign in again.
Tried logging out and back in again, no difference, also tried disabling app purchases and re-enabling, again no difference.
Double click your home button to access the multi-task screen and then go to the app store icon hold your finger on the app until it starts to wiggle and a red minus sign show up in the upper left corner tap the red minus sign to close the program then check it.
Just tried this, and for a moment it looked like it was going to work, but it defaulted back to the app info of the app I had purchased, I've also tried going into Apple ID and turning genius on which seems to work until I click on the Featured button at the bottom and the same happens again, I am thinking a restore from back up is the only option?
I am having the same exact problem. It started last night at 11.00pm I refuses to let me see the featured tab it's just stuck on one apps info with no button to go back.
If you figure it out please let me know. I'll do the same. Think I might call apple care.
