Blank screen instead of App Store

I was getting that but only with the Purchased (Apps) screen and apparently the latest update to Quicktime is to blame. I believe Apple are aware of it but you might want to contact them to give them a push.

Same problem here, tried restarting, then rebooting pc, then clearing cache and resetting settings in IE. So far no dice. Itunes diagnostics says secure link to itunes failed. Haven't made any security / firewall changes on my PC so assume it's a problem on the apple side.

Same issues with Vista 64 bit on Itunes 10.4.0.80.

Installed Itunes 10.4.0.80 on a clean Windows7 PC and it worked fine, so its not a fault with App Store.

Maybe it's something specific to Vista?

Same problem here. I can get to the app store on iPhone but not on WinXP PC

I'm using Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 and yesterday had the blank page issue on the Purchased Apps page but after completely uninstalling everything 'Apple' and after a reboot & reinstalling, it works OK.

The installer however installs Quicktime one version back, I think that has something to do with it. For now I have blocked QT 7.7 update.

Same here. Keeping fingers crossed for a fast fix.

So the problem is with an update to Quicktime. I don't recall installing it but I guess I did. I'm going to wait for a patch/fix, too much hassle to uninstall/reinstall everything. Thanks for the info.

It appears to be in my case and the others on that link I gave, but you all might want to contact Apple Support about this as it seems to be a tad more serious than just one small part of iTunes.

It was QT update 7.7 that did it in our cases.

Got boored waiting on apple. Tried it out. Uninstalled everything apple, then downloaded quicktime 7.6.9 (the newest being 7.7) it included itunes with it. Everything is working again. Had all my library still intact. Took only 10 minutes but I was multitasking, so it could take you only 5 minutes. Cheers!

Just delete everything apple and download new itunes fixed on Win 7 64 Bit

Last download of QT that I did was a couple of weeks ago and App store was fine until tonight so not sure it is QT related. I downloaded several app updates 24 hours ago and browsed the store.

I'd suggest not doing anything for a while and seeing if it is just a temporary problem. The App store can be accessed with an iPhone (and presumably an iPod touch). Im' Windows 7 64 bit on PC, and tried also with netbook which is windows 7 32 bit.

Is anyone with a Mac having the same problem?

EDIT - just checked the Mac section of the forum and no-one so far mentions this problem.

Actually downloading iTunes gives you the version 1 back of Quicktime as I think I already said (maybe in that other thread), that's why things start working.

It installs version 7.6.9 whereas 7.7 is the newest one.

I just set up my computer with new installation. Sigh... Shall wait for update, hopefully not too long...

SAME PROBLEM for me. iTunes Store shows every option except App Store.

Using Windows 7.

Apple, please fix asap.
