I get a lot of these in my system.log:
Aug 19 16:15:44 aroma Finder: file: /SourceCache/CoreServicesInternal/CoreServicesInternal-113.7/Source/FileURL/Fil eURL.cp; line: 1951; SetNameAndExtensionLengthFromCString failed; name = "#bøgg#"; the 0x6 bytes are:
Aug 19 16:15:44 aroma Finder: 23 62 f8 67 67 23 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
The file it complains about is on a mounted NFS volume (no other copies, I think). There is no open Finder window examining the directory that contains the file.
So my question is: Why would Finder bother, why is it snooping around in a directory I'm not looking at now, and what is FileURL.cp anyway?
Hmm. Am I the only person in the world who has seen this bug? If I try to google this, I end up here
