what is FileURL.cp ?

I get a lot of these in my system.log:

Aug 19 16:15:44 aroma Finder[204]: file: /SourceCache/CoreServicesInternal/CoreServicesInternal-113.7/Source/FileURL/Fil eURL.cp; line: 1951; SetNameAndExtensionLengthFromCString failed; name = "#bøgg#"; the 0x6 bytes are:

Aug 19 16:15:44 aroma Finder[204]: 23 62 f8 67 67 23 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

The file it complains about is on a mounted NFS volume (no other copies, I think). There is no open Finder window examining the directory that contains the file.

So my question is: Why would Finder bother, why is it snooping around in a directory I'm not looking at now, and what is FileURL.cp anyway?
