Spindown on my WD-Drive disturbs me

Hi!

I have 2 WD-book Drives and one is on 1 TB 800 and the odder is on 2 TB 800 and the 1 TB is connected via Firewire cable to my 2 TB

ho in return is connected to my computer,

and most of the time I let my HD's be turned on.

and now to the problem.

every time my HD's is going to spin-down mode.

I get locked up on my computer even if I open a folder that has nothing to do with the HD's

it take several seconds to just open the window.

I appreciate all help I can get
