can mac mini bitstream HD-audio to a reciver?

Hello, i am realy interested in the mac mini, but i just want to know if it can bitstream HD-audio, what i know it cant play it but how about bitstream, it dont need to do ennything with the audio and the reciver will do the decoding, ?
