recently, I have noticed that any time I need to use java within a web browser, it causes the page to be killed. what can I do to fix the problem?
For Safari, go to Safari/Preferences then select the Security tab.
Make sure Java is enabled.
And open Java Preferences (Applications/Utilities). Select the Network tab.
Click: Delete Files
Quit Java Preferences, restart your Mac.
What do you mean by "killed?" Does the browser crash? If so, please post the crash log.
well, websites using java cause chrome to pop up a message stating that I should 'kill' loading the page...
Are you only having this problem with Chrome, or do you also have it with Safari?
I'm having this issue with Safari 5.1, and Chrome (14.0.835.94 beta). I have tried what Carolyn Samit suggested, but it doesn't help at all.
Please post a link to a page you're having trouble with.
I don't remember anymore
