swap it out, install old ones and see what happens
install some monitoring software like iStat menu and see what HD temperature it will show for old and new drive

I used old hard disks that were previously used but this never solved the problem.
Temperature readings seemed to be fine. Was arround 30-50 degrees all round i think.

Click the heading of the "% CPU" column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for "% User," "% System," and "% Idle" at the bottom of the window.

And the user is 0.12
System is 0.25
Idle is 99.62

I also read somewhere that with that app you can't actually slow fans down? Just increase?

Smcfancontrol don't even load. I click to open and nothing happens
