Sep 3, 2011 11:19 AM in response to JerryFromKrakowby Cycloneblaze,To quote sickyd:
"10.4.1 didn't solve the issue, but reverting back to 1.5.2 of the ApplicationSupport did."
Which is what happened to me. Thanks for the fix!

Sep 4, 2011 9:49 AM in response to JerryFromKrakowby Stitchyangel,My daughter is having the blank screen problem with the iTunes Store so wanted to try this solution but when I try it says something about not having administrative rights. She's the only user of her laptop so don't know why it says this. The same thing happens when we try to uninstall anything to do with iTunes. Any suggestions please?

Sep 5, 2011 3:13 PM in response to JerryFromKrakowby gchin,Wow. Also worked for Windows XP. The path to the files are different. Opened windows explorer for C: and did a search for installer.
Found AppleApplicationSupport 2.0.1 and AppleApplicationSupport 1.5.2 , and did what you said.
The itunes store window works now.
Thanks

Sep 5, 2011 4:34 PM in response to gchinby gchin,Only minor issue for me: had to reselect all the playlists, movies, podcasts, photos that I wanted iTunes to sync from my PC.
Even solved the AppleMobileDeviceService.exe high cpu problem.
Thank you to Jerry!

There is simple solution for that case (forWindows 7, 64):
1. C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\AppleApplicationSupport 2.0.1
2. Right click
3. Uninstall
4. C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\AppleApplicationSupport 1.5.2
5. Right click
6. Install
7. Restart Windows
It's all

Sep 9, 2011 5:45 PM in response to JerryFromKrakowby Fiedibus,Greetings from Germany!
Why all this de- and re-installation? Did you guys install the software in a wrong way? NO! Nobody did. Apple needs to do homework! But currently they don't. Even worse, they do not even care if users are in trouble.
I really loved iPods and especially iTunes. But nowadays???
If you cannot reach the store simply leave it alone and do not buy anything from it. That's the only way they will realise that something's wrong!
I planned to buy an iPhone by December 2011 and leave my HTC Magic, but - F*ck'em!
ANDROID, here I am/come! Google is less evil!

Sep 12, 2011 9:50 AM in response to JerryFromKrakowby dolewhipfloat,I am going to scream! None of the suggested community forum remedies nor Apple's emailed suggestion have fixed the problem I am having! Then Apple tells me to call customer service and they are no help either! I have uninstalled and reinstalled my McAfee and internet filters, uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and QuickTime, and checked all approved lists to make sure iTunes is on there. What else can I try?! I am still unable to access the iTunes store. All that happens it the status bar gets to about half-way and then just goes back to the Apple logo in the status bar. Any more ideas?

Sep 12, 2011 11:57 AM in response to JerryFromKrakowby globalist,Jeebus christ, how are people still having the same problem? Just update to the latest iTunes (yes the one that fixes this bug among other things) and be done with it.
