Mail not Sending MobileMe Emails

Hi All,

I am having a problem sending emails using my mobileme address on Mac Mail. I receive emails fine, but whenever I try to reply or send a new email using that account, it just stalls and then finally shows the error message below. Also, if I sign into MobileMe online, I can send and receive fine, so it's something to do with the Mail App.

I have 5 other email addresses that I use on Mac Mail (gmail, aol, etc) and they all work fine (sending and receiving).

Jenny,

What is that first line? Why isn't smtp.me.com:jennilynft selected as outgoing mail server?

I'm not sure... I thought they are the same things.

When I compose an email my options of which to send from are:

I think the first two are the same thing (aliases of one another). I didn't add them seperately, they are one and the same under the Mac account:

Thanks Again... I really just want to be able to use my mac account because it's my main/default email address.

I think the problem is in your outgoing mail server field. Mine, for example, is smtp.me.com:<my user name>, so you need to edit your list so that your outgoing server is smtp.me.com:jennilynft. Just choose "edit smtp server list" from the pop-up and add the correct values, etc.
