While we don’t officially support Apple devices, you can follow these steps to configure the Mail app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to view, send and receive your Virgin Media Mail:
1. Make sure you've enabled IMAP in your main Virgin Media Mail settings
2. Open the Settings app on your device
3. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
4. Tap Add account...
5. Tap Other.
6. Tap Add Mail Account.
7. Enter your:
- Name – your full name. For example, Richard Branson
- Address – your email address. For example, richard.branson@virginmedia.com
- Password – your email password
- Description – a description of the email account. For example, Virgin Media Mail
8. Tap Next
9. On the New Account screen, make sure IMAP is selected
10. Enter the following details in the Incoming Mail Server section:
- Host Name – imap.virginmedia.com
- User Name – your email address. For example, richard.branson@virginmedia.com
- Password – your email password
11. Enter the following details in the Outgoing Mail Server section:
- Host Name – smtp.virginmedia.com
- User Name – your email address. For example, richard.branson@virginmedia.com
- Password – your email password
12. Tap Next
13. Once your account is verified, tap Save
You can now return to your Apple device’s Home screen where you’ll be able to use the Mail app to view, send and receive Virgin Media Mail.
