Shipping to PO Boxes

I find it incomprehendible that Apple, with all its technology, cannot ship an order shipped via the United States Postal Service to a P.O. Box. When I called customer service to inquire about this, all the poor girl could tell me was "The system won't allow us to do that." Someone set up this system not to allow that; someone had to make this choice for a reason.

I was ordering a $30 set of headphones. I live in a remote area and the post office doesn't even come to my house. USPS shipping was $4.00. If I wanted to ship it via UPS (who will come to my house), it would have cost me $10.

I live 100 miles - literally - from the nearest Apple store. I tried to buy the headphones at my local AT&T store, but they didn't have the volume control.

Come on, Apple. It's easy enough to say that something under a certain size/cost that does not require a signature (USPS deliveries don't anyway, according to the website) can go to a post office box. Come to the 21st century.

Thank you.

Okay, fair enough. Where can I go to let Apple know how I feel about this?

I actually have found very few vendors who will not ship to my PO Box. Because I live in a - yup - rural area, I do a lot of my shopping online, and most vendors will ship to the box, unless it's a large or very valuable item.

Thanks for the guidance.
