iPhone 3GS will not sync calendars because the sync server failed. Just installed Outlook 2010. Is there a fix for this?

My iPhone 3GS could not sync calendars to the iPhone because the sync server failed to sync the iPhone. Just installed Outlook 2010. Is there a fix for this?
