Where do I find the underscore key ( _ ) on the IPAD2 keyboard?

Presss the .?123 key on the bottom left, and then the #+= key which will appear above it, and it should then be on key above that
i am useing apple Mac desktop with a keyboard not an ipad
Depending upon what keyboard that you have, then it might be on the key next to the 0 (zero) - if that is the hyphen key then try shift and that key for underscore.
If you are writing an email double tap and and hold the word you want to underline. A box will appear above the word, choose BIU for bold italicizes and underline.
