itunes store is saying i owe them a certain amount of money from my bank card

What it is , is that when i go to buy say a music album i go to purchase it and it comes up with the billing information then it says my card has been declined or there is a previous billing problem with your previous purchace. i then go onto itunes on my computer down to billing information then it says i owe them a certain amount of money.

i also have purchaced an itunes £15 from my local store and entered the code on my computer and it wont let me use it at all.

I have a pre-paid debit card that i use to buy most stuff online. And when i used it for itunes at first it was fine. Then i use it again to buy an album and a few singles and they successfully went through. The next two days i try to buy something else and it says my card declined and i owe $25+ . I dont understand why it would decline and then still let me continue buying and downloading things. If it declined then it shouldnt have let me buy/download... am i right?

This exact thing happened to me, Jac...

I think iTunes has some trouble with prepaid cards because the transaction shouldn't go through if your credit card can't finish the purchase...

Of course, it doesn't hurt to mention that one of the files I downloaded from the album Sugarpills was corrupted and wouldn't play past 1:00 but no big deal...
