as stated above my phone was working and then just dropped the network service, i have a dial modem in my laptop with the same carrier and it is working fine. Any ideas or help welcome.......

In such a case, I would recommend to turn it Off/On. Press the button (on top of the camera) for a few second untill the switch/off button appears on the screen, switch off, wait a minute or 2 and press this same button again. Still the problem could be the Network station ... If you have this problem everywhere, then you might want to take it back to an AppleStore

you can try a manual selection for the network go to settings>carrier choose a different network you will get an error msg saying network connection lost,tap dismiss then choose your network,try a sim swap a diff sim on your iphone and insert your sim to a diff phone
Thanks for that, i have tried to do that and reset the settings and still no good, i tried driving through different suburbs but the network is fine my computer runs on modem on the same network.
