How do i fix unknown error (6) for ipod touch

I got an update for my ipod touch and after updating a error occoured. So i clicked ok and it sayd i need to restore and update it. It was the only option so i did that and after restoring and all the rest after it finishes an error pops up An unknown error has occoured (6). And ive tried multiple things. Ive tried holding home button and the sleep button and ive uninstalled itunes twice and re-installed it done all the apple suggestions to fix it but nothing works. Someone help me out.

There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize entry into your Registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance or follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
