I put my iMac to sleep via the Apple menu, occasionally via keyboard. It has a habit of exiting Sleep by itself at random times. The mouse sits on a level surface and the desk isn't shaking. Any suggestions as to how cure this?
If it matters, the mouse is a Logitech (wired).

Does it ever wake if the mouse is unplugged?
Any other USB or Firewire devices?
If I unplug the mouse while the Mac is sleeping, it wakes up.
I DO have a memory stick permanently plugged in to a USB hub, and I have an external Time Machine drive.
Try disconnecting both & see if it wakes, then try one at a time.
