Podcast URL no longer "valid" in iTunes 6.0.2

iTunes no longer recognizes one of my long-standing podcast subscriptions. When I attempt to update the feed, I receive a message saying that the podcast "does not seem to be a valid URL". This began after installing the iTunes 6.0.2 update. The Podcast is titled "Austin Riffs" and the specific URL is as follows:

http://www.vanitatrippe.com/ARS38.mp3

The feed had been updating flawlessly for months prior to the 6.0.2 update. I've tried dragging the XML link into my subscription pane direct from the Podcast's homepage without success. I've also unsubscribed and re-subscribed to no avail. Any suggestions on how to get this subscription going again?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I am having the same problem, since upgrading to 6.0.2 I can no longer subscribe to
http://www.cadenaser.com/rssaudio.html
http://www.cadenaser.com/rdfaudio.html

this used to be problematic with old versions of iTunes, but subscribing to
http://www.cadenaser.com/rssaudio.html/rs

used to work. However, now not even that works.

Both Safari and NetNewsWire recognise them as RSS feeds, but iTunes won't.
Any thoughts?

KPR - Your link appears to point to KYOU based/related podcasts. That likely means that you were listening to second hand shows the site you posted is not authorized to "retransmit". You need to identify the actual podcast you want and go look for it in iTunes. KYOU.com's website claims they are probably trying to break sites like the one you referenced in your original post.

i am having the same difficulty.

My feed actually changes to a link to one of the podcast files after downloading the latest file. Then I have to unsubscribe and subscribe every time I want the latest message. Bummed out that my subscribers are probably having the same difficulty. What's the fix?

I'm picking up The Word for Today podcast link right from their "radio podcast link" on the homepage, and I'm having this same issue. And I am bummed, but persistently unsubscribing and resubscribing daily. I would like to see a fix.

FWIW Chuck Missler's podcast has been working just fine through all this.

It now seems that "Insomnia Radio" Podcast is no longer recognized. When I attempt to update, I receive an "Unknown Error (500)". I had been subscribed to this feed from iTunes source list for months. I have tried to re-subscribe and receive the same error message.

Is there a reason that iTunes will not recognize established feed subscriptions since the 6.0.2 update?
