My iPhone 3G has been stuck in recovery mode since yesterday. I've googled how to get out of it but nothing works. It always just goes back to the "Connect to iTunes" screen. How do I fix this?

It didn't work. I keep getting Error Code 1015. I even used Revo Uninstaller to uninstall all Apple programs/files before reinstalling and trying to restore again.

if your in revorvery mode go to ipsw.me and download ios 6 or ios 4 for a iphone 3gs and connect it to itunes and hold shift(control on a mac) and click your firmware file
