I want to mirror my macbook screen. How can I do this?
I have done some poking around online and I see I can run my MacBook Air through an adapter such as this one http://www.techlink.uk.com/products/wires_cables/iwires/iwires_mini_displayport_ to_hdmi_adapter , but I want to put it out there in the support communities that I really want for Apple to enable screen mirroring through AirPlay on Apple TV.
I have used mirroring with my iPad from time to time for small group presentations and it works fine, so now I want to collaborate with small groups (product display and sales ordering with customers in this case) and it would be much less cumbersome (and much less likely that my staff will lose the adapters) to do it wirelessly with Apple TV rather than having to run an hdmi cable off my Air (kinda weighs it down too don't you know).
If there's something third party that will work, please let me know and I will give it a try. I actually have six of these installs to do in my company and I need to get moving one way or another.
Thanks.
