Endless photosync to iPad

Hi there,

I have the followig Problem:

Using MacBook Pro, Lion, actual Updates, iTunes (actual) and iPhoto (actual).

In iTunes I checked to sync all last 12 month photos to my ipad.

The last Album is 2 months ago (vacation photos).

The album seems o.k. and is in iphoto, but it is the last one on the ipad.

Photo sync starts, photos count up to over 1000 (so many where taken in between) and then stops at about the last 10 - 15 photos.

iPad tells "syncinc" - iTunes says "optimizing photos" - but nothing happens.

I even can not stop itunes "normal" - i have to hard shutdown it.

The Albums since the vacation 2 Months ago are not on the iPad ...

Any idea? iTunes itself runs o.k., iPhoto runs also o.k. and iPad either.
