How do I adjust the start and end dates on my Event?

I would like to adjust the start and end dates of my Event.

I do not want to change the dates on my photos, these are correct.

When I imported them into iphoto, the dates on the Event got all screwy.

My event is a vacation album and goes over several days.

iPhoto '11, Mac OS X (10.7)

The dates of an event reflect the dates of the photos in teh event - you can not set them seperatly - if they do not reflect the dates of the photos then you can flag all of the photos and create a new event from flagged photos - the new event will correctly reflect the dates
