Everything was okay with my iPad until after I let my niece play with it. Somehow she managed to mute every sound to all of my games. The sound works fine with downloaded songs and YouTube, but it won't let me listen to the sounds on my games. I checked my settings but nothing is wrong with it. This may not be considered a major problem but it just seems annoying that I can't hear anything while playing games.

First try the side switch above the volume control on the side of the iPad. Switch the other way. If the game sounds don't come on try this.
Double tap the home button and the recent apps show up in the task bar at the bottom. Swipe to the right in the task bar. All the way to the left you will see a speaker icon. Tap that and that should unmute the stem sounds.
Go to Settings>General>Use Side switch to - and see how you have that setting. You can set the side switch to mute system sounds or to lock screen orientation. Whatever you choose to do with the side switch, the other option (sounds or screen lock) will be accessed via the task bar with the double tap of the home button.
