I want to delete several emails at once without having to clik on each one. I see the same thing happen on my IPod. Please advise.

I'm not aware of any way to delete a group of mail any simpler than when in your mailbox, click Edit. Choose which messages you want to delete, then click delete and every message you selected will be deleted at the same time.
Is there a way to batch delete..rather than having to click on each msg to select it?
Not that I'm aware. I'm not even sure I'd want the option if it was available. I'd much rather choose the messages I want to delete (and you can choose as many at one time as you want) then delete them in one click.
On Mail in my macbook...I can hold down shift key to select a batch to delete. I now realize there is no keyboard as such on Ipad/Ipod to batch select. It just seemed excessive to have to individually click hmmm...50-60 emails to delete..especially if you had already read them on another device.
Only on the Mac, but not other Apple devices it's a bad design flaw It's the one time with may have me running back to MS GOOGLE and Android. Batch delete of email / the non cartoon IOS and the fact that interoperability of devices is now possible in the Microsoft and androids environments. This one item is too time consuming I'm not sure what to do. How difficult is it it correct batch email delete!
Just installed ios8 hoping my number one feature wish would finally be included in this update. Incredibly, batch select of multiple emails this is still NOT a feature. Seriously Apple, what are you thinking? I go back to my original theory, you want us to all buy more iCloud storage so you make it arduous to delete emails.

Re: How do you delete a batch of mail in Mail..instead having to click on each one (circle) to delete it. Please advise.
