MacBook Pro doesn't see wifi network

Hi,

My MacBook Pro (purchased a year ago) no longer recognizes my wireless network. The other computers on the network all see it and work fine with it, and the MacBook Pro is able to see and connect to other wifi networks in range.

I have tried everything – turning computer on and off, turning router/modem on and off, unplugging/replugging, logging into router settings (TP-LINK) and disabling security/changing the network name/etc. ...nothing works.

I've also tried "join other network" and have entered the username and password manually, but to no avail. Just says "conncetion timeout."

Anyone have any ideas?

Much appreciated,

Sharon
