My Iphone 4 will not let me access my IP camera using 3g. I can however access it on my home network,I have a Edimax IC- 3005wn camera and Netgear DG834g router. In fact i cant acces it from any other pc.

It sounds like you don't have things set up to be able to access it from outside your network.
You're going to need to set up port forwarding and probably set up a dynamic DNS service on your router so it can be seen from the outside world.
This is not an iPhone related problem and is well outside the scope of these forums. I suggest you try Google or a networking forum.
Hi...I have exactly the same problem as Gingas. I have an Edimax IC 3005WN IP cam. I have an I phone 4 and cannot access the camera via 3G. Even stranger, when seeking technical help from Edimax...the guys there could access my cam and see me from their end. Yet when I try, no joy. If they can see me via their I Phones - why cant I? Help!!! Its driving me mad! Any thoughts. Many thanks. Alex

when you tray to connect from your home yo connct from WLAN local area network with another way you connect from the same subnet
for example your ip camera ip is 192.168.1.5 if camera acces from lan that not mean acces from 3g with the same ip ther is diffrant ip for your router you should know this ip and make dmz server enable on your router and tayp on it your ip camera ip (192.168.1.5) and when you try to connect to your ip camera from 3g or any wlan except your linksys router you should taype your real ip
Not : your realy ip can change if your relode your router so you should talking with your isp about fixed ip
