How do I remove 'modified date'? It appears everywhere....in my calendar entries, photos, documents and files.

I see it everywhere...same date and time ...the only thing that changes is in the morning it has am and evening it has pm. my date and clock are the correct time...but somehow the modified date has taken over every entry in my documents. i can't find where i entered the modified date to remove it....it's crazy!
The date/time on all my docs say 'modified date'. i can remove 'modified date' but then there is no date at all. i can remove manually, one by one, but i am trying to remove where i entered the modified date so future entries have the correct info. Again, I was unaware when i did this....I thought i was typing in the current date and time
Thank you for any help you can provide.
I'm sorry, but I still don't understand. I'd very much like to see a screenshot showing what you mean. You can add an image to your response by clicking the camera icon in the toolbar of the message-editing window.
When you change a file, any file, the File System updates the file's Modified Date. You cannot change it except by modifying the file again, which will update the Modified Date to "right now". You cannot delete the file's Modified date.

Now let's talk about the screen presentation of files.
There are multiple ways to view your Files using the Finder. Most "List" views will show the File name, Modified date, and file size by default. You can use the Finder's View Menu > Show View Options to specify whether date will be one of the items displayed.
Icon view will show only the file name and a thumbnail (if available), arranged on a grid instead of a list. Column View show the file names and selected info in hierarchical columns. Cover flow shows names and thumbnails as a stack that you can swipe through, flipping the pages like a book.
Every file on an HFS volume has a modification date. You can't remove it.
How can I keep it from happening to future entries...calendar entries...photos....?
I'm not sure I understand what the problem is. Where are you seeing these modified dates? Post a screenshot if possible.
