gps coordinates in iWork Numbers ?

Does maps give you your current GPS location? The Compass app on the iPhone give GPS coords. Not sure if that App is installed on the iPad.

I would add two columns; one for Latitude and one for Longitude. To simplify matters, I would use the decimal degrees format.

Is there a way to capture the iPad mini's current GPS coordinates in a spreadsheet? I'm looking to build an inspection form. I need to visit dozens of containers in the field that are frequently moved. In addition to recording visual container conditions, contents etc it would be very handy to capture the location of each. Each container's info would be captured in one line of the file.

Sorry, I don't have a clue how you would do that in Numbers. Someone else may know how to grab that data.
