How the **** can I surf all my enterteinment media from a distance now??

I couldn't agree with you more. I have already given product feedback to Apple, but it doesn't hurt for them to see their customers talking about this.
Apple, please bring Front Row to OS X Lion!

I've been able to find a website that has a work around to have Front Row on Lion. Yes this is correct and easy...
Check out http://www.mac-hatter.com/blog/frontrowenablerforlion and download the file, reset your computer and you'll be up and running in a few minutes.

I did that, but Front Row wont find most of my media, making it almost useless...
I agree... it won't find ANY of my Music, Movies or TV shows.... it just points to the default 'Movies' folder. Unfortunately all of my movies and TV shows are in a Movies or TV Shows folder inside my iTunes... C'mon apple... this really ***** that you took this away, with no real reason or notice :-(
It was an awesome program that I would use DAILY to watch movies and tv shows from the comfort of my bed... sigh

Now I'm using Plex. The interface is nicer and finds all my stuff. Downsides are no Theatrical Trailers (which Front Row has) and I don't think it handles Pictures and Podcasts. Give it a try.
It can be set up to launch with Menu botton on remote.
Front Row sucked as a media centre anyway, it was incapable of displaying song or TV show names in the correct order. I now use Boxee, it is great, and even the simple fact that it allows you to browse to any file on your network makes which you could not do in Front Row makes it 100% better.

Why apple remove frontrow from lion OSX ,the whole world love this application .
We hope apple put this application back into the Lion OSX back against soon.
Why no Front Row? Simple, they have a new version, it's called Apple TV and they want you to buy it.
You could put aliases in your Movie folder that point to the real folder with your media files (including iTunes Library Moviewe folder). Extra clicks but it works fine for me.
As far as I can tell Plex and Boxx do not support movies purchased by iTunes.
Front Row may be clunky but it had many features tha we all miss with Lion.
Grrr!
I made the mistake of upgrading from 10.5 to Mountain Lion last night and am unhappy. The most annoying part is that buying an apple TV doesn't solve my problems as my iMac is in my bedroom as its own media centre and my actual TV isn't. I would even happily pay to have it as a downloadable app for the iMac just so I can use the remote again.
No Front Row in Lion = Fail
