Hi,

Yes, so long as both of them have ethernet ports and you select in OS 8.6 sharing or enable file sharing, then yes.. you can network from them. I have been away from Classic Mac OS for awhile, but I do know that in OS X all you have to do is go into System Preferences then Sharing. Where it says "internet sharing", allow the computer you wish to connect to use the host's ethernet connection.

If you want to do this wirelessly, you would have to get USB wireless dongle since the Wallstreet does not support airport directly.

Thanks to both of you for responding. However, I have enabled sharing on both computers, and I still can't read one from the other-either direction- what else could I be doing? I'd like to be able to access the older one and all the content on it's hard drive from the newer (although it is old, too, I know) one.

Next bit of advice, anyone/
