MP3 Album Art Missing In Finder

I use iTunes to embed album art in mp3 files I create. This feature had been working just fine until recently. Not sure if its related to the lion upgrade or recent updates to iTunes but I suspect the latter. At any rate, the album art appears to embed just fine but doesnt display properly in finder as an icon. All that displays is the generic audio icon. Anyone else notice this problem? I think its a bug with Lion. I copied the same file to my Win 7 PC and the album art appeared just as expected.
