Exporting high resolution files from photo library

Hi,

why is there not an option in Apples own photo library settings which allows me to email\export the original file size?

As it stands any images I email from an iPad will reduce the file size. For example an image that is originally 5mb in size will automatically be reduced to around 200kb when emailed.

There is no setting which I can check which allows original file size emailing. Not much good if you want to print the image a decent size.

The only way around this I have found is by using an app called PhotoSync. This allows for full resolution exporting of images.

I would have thought Apple would have given this option as it wouldn't be hard to implement.

Cheers

Ben
