Hey I have done all the basics, such as clear cache, history etc under prefrences in Safari 5.1 & Lion. But I just saw a web page appear in spotlight. I looked up how to clean up the cache in snow leopard, but things don't llok the same in the finder window under Lion. Anyhelp in sscouring my harddrive of safari history there.

I use Onyx it does a little better job of cleaning everything. For Safari you can also use "Private Browsing" in the Safari menu to prevent it from being there in the first place.
i usually use private browsing, but I was wondering if I could go in to the finder and look there to remove the cache in the library manually? any thoughts
The new directory for Safari History in Lion is
~/library/caches/metadata/safari/history
