Email not showing up in inbox

Hello,

I have a Macbook Air (first gen) with Mac OS X v10.8 Snow Leopard. I have all my email POP email accounts and my .mac account routed to my Mac Mail inbox. (Under the Inbox I can click on the individual POP account folders if I just want to look at one in particular, say @yahoo or @aol)

Recently my mail has stopped rolling into my Mac Mail inbox and only showed up in the individual POP account folders. Any idea why this would have started happening and how can I fix it?

My software is up to date and I haven't changed any settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are the messages to be found via web and browser access of this MobileMe account? I assume you once had the settings via that access set to get these messages? Is that still the case?

Hi Ernie,

The emails are in Mobile Me. The emails are in the POP folders UNDER my main Mac Mail box on my Apple computer.

The problem is that they do not come into my main Mac Mail box anymore.

Solved the problem by rebuilding mailbox. This realigned data in the mailbox to it's original structure and did not delete any of the data I had in my inboxes.

Go to Tool bar

Select Mailbox

Select Rebuild
