How do I retime a video to a specific percentage?

How would I speed up or slow down a video by an "unusual" amount such as 37%?

Or how do I retime a clip fit a piece of music?

Just discovered that it's simple.

Open the Retime Editor and drag the right hand edge of the timing bar (above the clip) to the required percentage.

P.S. Is crap a rude word?

I'm sure you will find people who would say crap is being rather rude. For me, it's a word you use when you don't want to be profane and say the "s" word version of what you are referring to. I consider the "s" word to be very rude.

I'm guessing you might be asking this, since it appears you are from the UK. Having worked with and for various English people I always found this topic to be somewhat humorous. Often times they would apologize for their use of words. As I'm sure you probably know, there are some words which are offensive in the UK that you could use in the US and most (who are not familiar with their use in the UK) would not know you were being profane.

I came across a research paper done by ASA and the BBC. (Titled: Delete Expletives?) It was in a link on Wikipedia under profanity. The fourth highest ranked word (high in severity) was what I will call the "w" word. I was told this was a very bad word. The research papers appears to agree. Yet, you could probably use this word all day long here in the US and anyone who is not aware of it would probably think it was cute.

My wife and I were watching Betty White's new show Hot in Cleveland where one of the British woman on the show actually used the "w" word. I doubt anyone was the least bit offended, unless they were aware of it's how it's used in the UK. I'm assuming the woman who used it thought it was somewhat of an inside joke knowing she could say it, since it's not considered profane here in the US. Although I don't believe the MPAA actaully publishes a list of what is profrane.

I think it would be a good idea for UK emigration to hand out the list of words on page 9 of the report to any incoming visitors. Otherwise we'd be walking around saying Bullocks, thinking we were being very British. What's wrong with Bullocks anyway? She won an Academy Award for her role in The Blind Side. (nothing's wrong with Bullocks, unless you spell it differently)

Bullocks is offensive?

Crap.
