Q: Xsan2.2 server and lion client

Guy's

 

I'm trying to add a new mac with lion

but can't add computer via xsan admin.

It ask for Xsan 2 liciense serial.

Any ideas on how to over come that?

I was told by my apple rep it should work.

    Hmm, that is odd because according to Apple's KB that is not possible. Xsan on Lion uses 2.3 and it's always beem a no no to add a higher version Xsan client ot a lower version of Xsan MDCs. Also Xsan 2.2 wouldn't understand the concept of non-licensed Xsan that is in Lion.
