I have one elementary question:
I have 4 tracks & have aligned them correctly and a 5th track where I will record vocal.
But how to I fix or secure these 4 tracks so that I do not accidentally move them ?

You can't in GB - but why would you accidentally move them? Has never happened to me.

click the lock icon in each track's header

What I meant was I want to prevent myself moving the track to the left or right .... and in so doing messed up all the alignments of the 4 tracks ...

(just so any future reader is not confused, a track can not be moved left or right, only vertically, which is to what Christoph was referring, there is no way to prevent that. regions _within_ a track can be moved in time, and this is one of the things locking will prevent)
