Q: iTunes Store won't open.

So I click the iTunes store tab, and the loading bar gets about almost halfway through...then it stops.  Then the Apple logo appears where the loading bar was, as if iTunes was idle.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the iTunes programs, to no avail.  Is this happening to others?  Can it be fixed?

iPod nano, Windows Vista

I was as frustrated with the same problem at the end of last year - this finally worked.

Once you identify the LSP, google the offending software and you should identify the programme doing the blocking.

The culprit in my case was my Vodafone Mobile connect.

Deleted this, restarted, itunes stores opened, reloaded latest Vodafone software, everything works.

    Good luck!

    One Solution to try.

The same thing happened to me - itunes Store loads half way then freezes and it was driving me crazy that I couldn't get it to load. I went through ALL these solutions with no joy. Turns out that I had disabled 'Bonjour' in order to speed up my computers start up time using 'TuneUp Utilities'.  Any who, you simply need to re-enable it for start up, I was able to do this through the tune up program, anyone else using a tune up program will probably be able to do the same. Alternatively do the following:

    > Start,

    > Run/Search If your on Windows 7,

    > Msconfig,

    > Services,

    > Tick the 'Bonjour Service' box,

    > (Tick any other iTunes box if disabled),

    > Ok,

    > Restart PC.
