Looking for iSync

Question

Looking for iSync

Just got a new MacBook Air running Lion and looking for iSync to sync calender and contacts with my Nokia phone. This all worked in Snow Leopard. But where is the app Isync in Lion?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

There is no isync in lion. Try restoring isync from your time machine backup or a prevuious clone backup you might have. That seems to work and is fully functional under lion.

iSync is discontinued in Lion and no longer included. The iSync application from Snow Leopard continues to work for now, but SyncServices (which iSync uses) is deprecated in Lion, so it won't work forever.
